Well, this is my last day of freedom. Well I would hardly call eating whatever I want freedom, but you get the point. I hope everyone is having a great Christmas and has enjoyed this 2008 Holiday Season, but now it's time to buckle down and get serious! No more cookies, pies, and eggnog for me! Ugh, I miss it already! Well, as promised I am going to lay out exactly what I plan on doing, at least for now, and seeing how this weight loss kicks off.
First thing's first...
I will drink a Slim Fast shake first thing in the morning along with 3 pills of Leptorexin.
For lunch, same thing. A Slim Fast shake with 3 pills of Leptorexin. Yummy! (ok sarcasm!).
Dinner, the best part - 1 Healthy Choice Frozen Dinner containing no more than 400 calories (the new Cafe Steamers are my choice because they taste much better and more filling with only 250 calories!).
So that's it for food. Crazy? Yes. Healthy? Probably Not. But then again, is being 80 pounds overweight healthy? Absolutely Not!
The idea of this diet came from researching a health clinic that I almost dished out $1500 for to help me lose weight fast. I found out what product they use to promote such fast weight loss and discovered the secret of Optifast. If you've never heard of Optifast, its a diet that is monitored by a physician (as it is only obtained such way, at least legally in the U.S.) that aids in very fast weight loss for the morbidly obese. Optifast is a shake product, similar to Slim Fast in that they are both meal replacements, but Optifast is probably way more healthier as it contains much more proteins and vitamins. The idea is that for 12 weeks the patient will only drink Optifast shakes and digest no solid foods at all. This is the case for the Optifast VLCD (very low calorie diet) that is monitored. The main reason patients lose so much weight in such a short amount of time is due to the fact that this diet contains no more than 800 calories in a day, sometimes steeping as low as 400. Now of coarse this would make anyone lose weight, and I don't care if it is monitored by a physic an you pay a thousand bucks to or not, it has to be unhealthy. But I'm not losing weight primarily for health reasons, am I? Nope! I just wanna look great and feel good.
Ok...
So now that we know where this crazy idea came from we can move on. Knowing that 800 calories (even less depending on what Healthy Choice Meal you pick!) is going to make me feel kind of "run down," at least for the first week or two, I am still going to attempt cardio exercises. Mainly just on the Elliptical. For the first 2 weeks, I am also doing a detox with Acai Berry Detox Pills that I will take before my workout once a day. And of coarse, all with lots of water. Oh, and then some more water!
Whew! I guess after seeing this put down on paper (or typed on the screen I should say) I realize why I decided to call this my Xtreme Weight Loss Journey! Well, this is it! I will be sure to keep you posted on how I'm doing. Until then, let's think positive and gain self control!
